Title: Dumb Terminology Question
Post by: Fresh_Start on September 08, 2009, 01:58:33 pm
I want to connect the "sync" output of my signal generator to the "Trigger" input of my oscilloscope.  The signal generator has two jacks for bannana plugs.  What do you call the connector type on the oscilloscope?  The jack is just like the jacks for the probes.  You push on and twist.

I need to know so that I can order (or make) a cable.  Any good ideas on sources for a ready-to-use cable?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Chip

It's a BNC connector.

Can't help on the ready-made cable source, though.

Don't make a special cable. Just get several of these Pomona 1269 adapters and use all BNC cables.
