This isn't rocket science, but I just stumbled on a very nice set of plans for an amp cradle:

This is what I use. I think DaGeezer has one similar that he may be using also?

It was reasonbly inexpensive.

That's similar to what I built out of stuff laying around the garage...adjustable from Princeton to Concert II.
