I stashed my battery pack into an old digital camera pack that I had laying around.  The cover overlaps the lower part and the wire coming out forms a natural "drip loop".  It is water proof, so I am good to go in the rain or mud and can wash it off in the sink if I have to.  It has a velcro belt loop, but it is too small to make it around any frame tubes.  I use another piece of velcro to run through the loop and around the frame.  I will post a pic ASAP.
