Title: Can you reuse removed frets on the same guitar?
Post by: Terry on January 22, 2010, 04:27:20 pm
I just got a Tradition PRS copy.  It has a 14 radius neck.  I'd like to make at least the top 3/4 into closer to a 12 radius.  It's like a regular stratocaster fretting.  Do you think I could pop the frets out and reuse them?

No, except of course if you're green. Green like in mold or troll green.

Nope, you need to get new frets.  There is just no way to do it so that it will work.
