Title: Speaker hookup

Could someone supply me a hookup diagram for a speaker cab. On my amp i have a 4ohm and 8 ohm socket.My speaker cab has two speakers in it (both 8 ohm) and i want to be able to use both together, and with a switch be able to use them seperate. Thanks

Here is one solution.  It always provides a load for your amp, which is important.  With the SW open, Speaker A works alone for an 8 ohm load.  With the SW closed, both Speakers are in parallel for a 4 ohm load. 

(With the SW either open or closed, if you happen to use the wrong jack on your amp, the amp will still be safe.  A 2:1 mismatch is generally considered to be OK.)
