Title: Stuck inside of Mobile
Post by: sluckey on February 12, 2010, 10:49:28 am
Oh Mama
Can this really be the end
To be stuck inside of Mobile
With the Memphis blues again.

It was 1996 when I last saw a snowman in Mobile!

Deep in Dallas. 8 inches on uncle's car.

Baltimore is apparently deeply socked. They know what snow is and they have little snowplows. Which can not handle the 30+" of snow and drift. The few big trucks can't get in the smaller streets. City asks residents to shovel around fireplugs... but no place to put snow.

Boy am I glad I moved out of the snow-belt to Maine. Haven't had significant fall in weeks, don't expect any soon. Going ahead with porch excavation.

Just a couple inches here in The Mountains of NC
Looks like we were at the northern edge of it and the heavy stuff was south of us

That seems backwards!!!

While everyone south and east was getting hammered, we had 2-3 inches in mid Michigan.  No big snow yet this season.  Cold as hell a few times, that was it.

Meterologist Brain Sussman (used to be CBS 5 weatherman) with a real degree has been inviting Mr Gore to a debate on climate change debate. He lives about 10 minutes from Gore's SF digs. So far no response. Such is life on the left coast...

I may be showing my age a bit but when I saw the title of this thread, that song just popped right out of of my memory banks automatically.

Even the snowmen are depressed
