I call him Count Funkula....
It's a Precision-style body, with a Jazz-style neck. It's just made from parts, but I refinished the neck to make it look more vintage in look.
Right now it's got a basic MIM Fender pickup in it....I'm still debating what to upgrade it with.

Thanks man, it plays pretty well too! It doesn't sound bad, but I really think that I need to go a different direction with the pickup.

Pretty cool. One of these times I'd like to build a James Jamerson'ish Precision. Ashtray and pickup cover, old never change em strings, rubber under the ashtray. I know I couldn't hold his case, but there's something about the motown tone that just makes me giddy as all get out. Some don't like the thuddy no sustain sound, but man did he ever make it work. Nice bass man.
