How do you like the DP008?  Can you use VST like effects or plug-ins?

Thanx Tubenit
I hadn't touched my instruments in about 9 months and getting this thing was a deal like "ok now you have to do something good or bad". So that is a pretty good testament about how easy the DP008 is to understand.
I managed to scrape enough rust off to come up with something and record it in about 6 hours.

Hi Tubes
I like it a bunch because the learning curve is just almost nonexistant and the sound is really clean. The only Signal processing you can do is onboard reverb with dedicated knobs and EQ of which has a physical button and the 3 band adjustments are in the very simple menu.
There is no effects send but there is a USB port that you can download all 8 tracks to a computer (also for back up purposes) and if you have the right Software you can spruce up each track as you want and then upload back into the unit for mastering.
Music 123 beat a price that I found on eBay $215 so I can't complain. If you want something with more features the DP02CF would probably fit the bill.
Here's the DP008 manual:

Good deal on the recorder. I loved the song, that IS my style! Reminded me of Dr. Hook, you don't do Levitate do you? HAHA

Great tunes,

Jim

HAHAHA
You don't need to have any vital organs removed to sing like that.
