Anyone know where I can get a dark tweed material?

A closer look at one of these amps reveals brown overspray inside the cabinet. It looks like the regular tweed was sprayed with a dark brown lacquer.

I believe that tweed fabric is stained (probably not painted) for color variation.  Or a tinted varnish may be used.

BTW:  nice collection!

Real cotton twill - so-called "tweed" - can be dyed or stained very easily. Let it dry, then you can apply it and finish it as you wish - say a shellac wash coat, a couple of shellac body coats with nitro on top for a real vintage effect. El cheapo vynil-based tweed is crappy and should be avoided at all costs.
