Just got it in the mail today. The LCD is way lighter than the my other meters. Is this typical. The pictures don't really show how light it is, but it does give you an idea.
This one is taken at a higher angle where the lightness (the bright button does not affect how dark display digits are) becomes more apparent, the other meters are unaffected by the angle.

This is at a more "normal" angle where the display becomes darker. Is it typical for the angle to affect how dark the display is on these meters?

A new battery was install, same result. Both batteries measures at 9.5v
Am i just being paranoid, or should i return for a new one?

My fluke 189 is exactly the same. Off angle, not so hot.
