Title: Marshall Tucker 1973
Post by: Ritchie200 on May 12, 2010, 12:45:42 am
I remember recording this entire show off the TV, and I still have it on cassette.  I never thought it would show up on u-toob, but here it is.  It was a Rock Concert episode called Saturday night in Macon.  It had Marshall Tucker, Allman Bros, and Wet Willy.  Great classic stuff!  This is "Can't you see".  Toy looks like he is about 15, but has that great voice, and that guitar....  There are some Allman Bros links from the show off to the right.

Absolutey stunning performance!

To think, that LP Toy's playing was only 13-14 years old at the time (but then again, so was I !!)

What tone he gets picking with just his fingers! Fantastic.......

Yikes ............... Jim, looks like we have another common interest!

I saw the Marshall Tucker Band along with It's a Beautiful Day at the Majestic Theater in Dallas.

Wonderful show!  Great memories of that evening.

I tried to do an instrumental  version of the song here "Song in the key of D" (when you click play- it will have a popup asking if you want to close it ......... just click no):
