Title: trem roach orientation please
Post by: dwp on May 29, 2010, 12:25:56 pm
Hello All, I did try search before asking this same question which I know was answered years ago, The copper leads on the trem roach go to the plate/voltage? silver to the pot and ground? Or am I backwards once again?
Thanks in advance, dwp

The optical connections on the roach (which are non-polarized) are identified by the silver dot and the somewhat longer leads.  These are connected in shunt between the plate of the 12AX7 and ground.

Thanks Iannone, so silver dot there is none, nor continuity or polarity on either, but I think the silver leads are the same as silver dot you are referring to, they were longer, this is and old roach I had installed and removed and was pondering re-installing, Have since moved on away from trem again.
Thanks again, dwp
