Title: OT question (again)

I always forget how this works.
I have a OT with a 5k and an 8K primary with a single 8ohm secondary.
All's good with an 8 ohm speaker cab.
I am trying to get an 8 ohm plus a 4 or 16 ohm output option going.
Can/would I put a switch on the OT primaries and run it on the 5K taps if I hooked up a 16 ohm speaker cab?
This would be on PP EL84 set up.
