Title: capacitor math ?!

I know that connecting two capacitors of the same value in parallel will double the value , ( .1 + .1 = .2 ). But , is it correct to assume that .002 + .001 in parallel will equal .003 ?

Yep, Ct = C1 + C2 + ... + Cn

Thanks... I haven't been able to find a Mallory 150 .0033 .. so  I'll just parallel a .002 and .001.
