Well I just got in a Fender 75 Rivera/Jahns era combo amp in for repair. I'd forgotten what a wiring mess these things are. Typical pull switches for everything and opto switching. Anyone work on one of these recently? Someone pulled the heater circuit hum balance pot and replaced it with two 100 ohm resistors. No problem there but they used 10 watt cement resistors! Whoa.
Well as usual it came in without a foot pedal. I don't think I've ever seen one of these with a foot pedal. Does anyone know what buttons and labels were on the foot pedal for these amps? Was it Reverb and Lead like the Rivera era foot pedals?

Reverb and lead, right. Here's a link fore you http://www.superchamp.dk/tech_talk.htm

I have bought one used with the intention to mod it Dumble style. Never got around to it though. This amp is a veritable rats nest. One day ... I will gut this bastard and rewire it as a Dumble ODS HRM amp. The good thing is that all the push-pull pots are already there, tube compliment fits as well.
As regards the footswitch they are identical to the Rivera-era footswitches as the previous poster remarked.
Cheers Stephan

Thanks guys. I appreciate the link and comments. I found a site which has a scratchy footswitch schem but the one on your site is better malt. The site I found also shows a Reverb only footswitch that supposedly doesn't load down the clean channel when plugged in:

DBM, you are right about the rats nest wiring.
Thanks again
