OK mine is more just a snap, not real loud, but when both channel volumes are cranked, it is noticeable. I'm using one of Dougs relays to switch the input jacks from normal channel (5F6A) to EF86 Channel. I have the other pole of the relay grounded when switched out of use. The noticeable snap is when I switch from 5F6A to EF86 channel, not so much switching back. Can I put a 5M resistor across the poles, think that will fix? or a cap and what size?
Thanks in advance, dwp

See Leevi's thread on pops. I quoted PRR when he straightened me out about protection diodes across relay coils. A 5M resistor to shunt transients can't hurt either.
