Anyone try these yet? I spent $$ for a pair of tone tubby 10's, in my opinion are just OK.
try as they may, still don't sound like a 12" guitar speaker.......

Worth every penny if you ask me. I have been using them for all my builds and I'm more than happy with them. Sounds great to my ears. I have a set of the veteran 30's in a 4x12 cab and they just rock. I like their greenback copy as well, sounds just like it with that bit of compression on the attack. Not as spikey as the original. I have heard great things about the et65 as well.

I've used them in a number of builds too, and I don't think you can beat them for the price. I've used the 12" Veteran and like it, and I have the 10" in my Beast Champ and really like it too.

I've got a Veteran 30 & ET65 in a 2/12 cab, they sound great to me. @$155 for both, shipped within the week & well packaged for the trip. I really can't see dropping $250 for one speaker.
