Title: Megachunk's Basic Jazz Amp Pix
Post by: Megachunk on June 22, 2010, 10:22:45 pm
Guys.

Here's the finished amp with no faceplate in the cab and the guts. Thanks to all who helped out on this, especially Tubenit, who came up with the design and layout. The guitarist really likes it, used it at a pop gig and it worked fine as long as he ran the treble around 7. He thinks it'll be perfect for his jazz. If you ask me, it sounds a little plexy-like when cranked, and I think its that .68uF in the the first stage. We put it in one of the newer Princeton cabs and had a chassis made for it.

Thanks again,

Megachunk

Hey, that looks great!  PR size is a nice size to have & tote around.

Good job.

With respect, Tubenit

Hello megachunk,
that looks nice but it's very very dangerous with that open back and B+ outside the chassis one could easily touch.

Here in Germany you would go to jail if you give it to anyone.

Greetings

Thanks!
There's a doghouse that going on, just have to finish it... No jail time for me!

OK, have much fun with your doghouse, I hope there's no bull terrier in it.
