Tried out a new road exploring around the other day and found a flea market I didn't know existed. Found an old electronic services case with "GE Tubes" wrote on the side full of old NOS tubes. Unfortunatly most of the tubes are radio/TV tubes. Only a few common amp tubes. The case is so cool though! It has a orange top that when unlatched folds down into two seperate compartments and bottom is gray. I cleaned the thing up, made a new handle out of 1/2" hot water pvc and put all my amp tubes in there. It's nice to have all my amp tubes consolidated to one location. Very cool find! Platefire

Tube caddies are nice...

I haven't been able to accomplish the tubes in one place solution. Either thgere's too much stuff; or its the wrong size to fir any coherent plan. I too stumbled across a nice old tube caddy. It has lots of room at the bottom; but not enough room in the upper fold-out trays for my peamp tubes. If I store stuff in the bottom, I can't find it. So I use the tube caddy trays to sort larger caps; big fat power tubes like 6550's go in the bottom in tube boxes, along with extra trannies & fat cable.
I use a fishing tackle box for all other tubes, with 4 pull out, see-thru plastic boxes with adjustable spaces for all other tubes. But the fat tubes don't fit in there!
