That trem circuit requires a shorting plug or footswitch (contacts closed) plugged into the footswitch jack to work. Have you done that?
-
Yes the first problem I had with the board was I bought one of those optioisolater things instead of making my own and had the damndest time figuring out which way was which but I got that figured i need to go through and check all my voltages again. Hey slucky do you still have that visio file for the ultimate marshall you did. Thanks Bill

do you still have that visio file for the ultimate marshall

How would I make a quick test lead to check my switch its old. I got it with the music man amp chasis this is built on. Thanks Bill

I am waiting for a visio program to come in that i bought cheap. which version do you use.
So, you don't even have Visio? There's a moderate to steep learning curve. The file was last saved in Visio 2010 format, which has only been out for a couple weeks. Maybe I should just send you a pdf version.

What are you talking about? A tremolo footswitch? If so, just put a jumper wire between the center terminal of the trem FS jack and chassis. A properly bent paper clip will do the job. Use a gator clip test lead if you got 'em. If you ain't got 'em, go to Radio Shack, cause you're gonna need 'em if you stay in this stuff.

Thanks my friend I will just use an alligater clip like you recomended. My daughter is an ace with visio even though ive never used it . she said she could pretty much do what ever I wanted and show me how. I was getting the 2003 version but it probably wouldnt work with what you have. But thank you for the offer. Bill
