Anyone try Winged C EL34's lately? A friend of mine had his Marshall 100watt head retubed with some and loves the tone. How about 6l6's in this brand?

I had some winged C 6l6 in a peavey ultra I used to have I tried jj,s and a couple others,
 winged C,s stayed in over everything But Nos to my ears in that amp. Bill

I've built a couple of SE amps around a Winged-C EL34 and I like them a lot.

I retubed a GH100L with 6L6GC "C" and the owner loved it...
I have a homemade plexi+hotswitch with them too... everyone seems to like it's tone a lot...
