Ok I have been reading trying see if I understand, on my fender cap Board i have two 100uf caps in what I think is series so that would make that first node 50uf in capacitance right.  Bill

Yes.   Series arrangement halves capacitance but allows the voltage rating of the two caps to combine. E.G. 2 x 350v caps in series = ~700v max voltage.

Thanks John that was very helpfull, Its funny I dredged for hours and didnt see that in the library, I think thats the problem with the internet you can look and look and then someone points you in the right direction and bam your were you wanted to be all along. Bill   :angel
