I thought I save some work finding some Chickenfoot videos fo you guys.
The quartet's line-up sound good, and not a synth in sight.
The first Chickenfoot song I heard.

Enjoy the best Hagar has sounded in a long time. Satch helps quite a bit too though.

Cool stuff
I bet Sammy and Mike are glad to be away from the crazy Van Halen brothers.
The chickenfoot site seems to be down at the moment
Went to youtube and was able to watch several vid's
Sammy sounds great
The songs are a nice break from the "Every band sounds the same these days" deal
Funny how much the drummer looks like Will Ferrell sometimes.
On the Conan O'brien show clip, he is wearing a T-shirt that says, "I am not Will Ferrell"

 I didn't ever notice it until I watched the Conan video, Yeah, it seems to depend on the camera angle, and how far away the camera is.

Finally got around to listening to these - great stuff!
However, if I could pick my fav Sammy lineup (yeah, I know we were talking about Satch!), it would be HSAS - Hagar, Neal Schon, Kenny Aaronson, and Michael Shrieve. Talk about a super group - the members were part of (not including Sammy's history): Santana, Santana, Journey, Jan Hammer, Bad English, Automatic Man, Buckethead!, Dust, Pat Travers, Leslie West, Rick Derringer, on and on...
Great live cut of Whiter Shade of Pale:

Listen to Sammy's pipes on this one, and Schon shreds like a demon, My Home Town:

On the same page, punch up the majestic Valley of the Kings. This was a great band!
You know, Sammy can also shred like a maniac, if given the chance! And he still sounds great at 63!
