Title: PI Switch
Post by: kriswel on August 28, 2010, 08:15:04 pm
Been a while. My head has been lost in regular life for a while, but I have some amp projects back on the go.

If I want to switch between a Concertina PI and a Schmitt PI with a 3PDT would I ground the opposing input or switch the output signal wires? I would like to keep one paddle to switch the NFB loop if I can.

Why limit your self to only two options?

Should that switch on the plate not have a cap in front of it so it doesn't have hi voltage on it?

High voltage on the switch won't do it any harm. It'll will make a loud pop sound when switching, whether there is a cap or not.
