Title: Reverb Tranny Wiring Question
Post by: ampgeek on September 02, 2010, 08:00:03 am
I am installing a single tube reverb circuit in a 5F6A'ish build.
Does the direction of current flow through the transformer (P/N 022921) primary matter?
Not sure if the red wire goes to the B+ supply or the tube driver (12AX7) plate.
TIA,
Dave O.

Polarity does not matter.  I usually put the red wire to B+ and the blue to the plate.

Thanks ToN!  And...to Tubnit for the sweet little design.
Red to B+ was my inclination but since this is my first reverb implemented build I just wanted to make sure.
Cheers,
Dave O.
