Felt the bed shaking at 4:30 this morning - thought it was the missus trying to get my attention (so I went back to sleep :wink:). Must've been big because we are a few hundred kms north of Christchurch

You need an earthquake detector. Leave the amp on with the reverb cranked, when the reverb crashes wake up and run like hell .....The say it was pretty substantial good luck

Yeah- same magnitude as the Haiti earthquake (7.1) and no fatalities. Looks like it did a few $B worth of destruction tho'

WOW! that was amazing nobody got hurt.  Glad to hear you are OK.

Gee I hope this didn't put "The Hobbit" even further behind schedule!
