Twin Reverb SF heater wiring
« on: December 05, 2010, 10:34:56 pm »
My apologies if this has been touched on - my search turned up nothing...

I'm replacing the heater wiring on the SF twin reverb I'm rebuilding and blackfacing. On this amp, the heater wires go from V6 to V3 sequentially, then jump over to V1 and then double back to V2. Then they run to the hum pot.
Any issue with running the new wires sequentially V6 to V1 and then to the pot? (I'm also considering terminating the circuit at V1 and adding the 2 100ohm resistors by the pilot lamp)

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Just run them sequentially from the power tubes to V1. Put the hum balance where ever you like, but I would just replace with two 100 ohm resistors.
