If your not using the 5v winding for a tube rectifier, A cheap rectifier bridge and a 470uf 25v cap. All you need. That's all I use for a fenderish build. Except I use 3v relays, most will turn on at 3v or higher anyways.

I use the 5v tap for relays on my Overdrive Rocket amps. It's really easy.I like using 5v relays because they seem to be very reliable and no noises that I have heard.
I have used up to three relays and two LED's with my amps with no trouble at all.

Look at that drawing again. He's not using a center tap.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Yeah, no center tap.  If you wanna see a layout, search for the D'Lite layout with relays over at the amp garage.  Let me know if you have trouble finding it.

I meant a bridge but a doubler will do just as good.

Sorry guys Ive only used the 5 volt line for running rectifier tubes,I guess I just foolishly thought one was positive and one was negative or ground. But when I look at how I connect to the rectifier tube thats not the case.It sucks being a newbie Ive learned alot the last couple years but I still have so far to go. (LOL).
Thanks  Bill
