rectifier heater question
« on: January 13, 2012, 05:13:15 pm »
This could be one of those dumb questions.
My schematic show voltages of 0 & 5 on the PT for the GZ34 rectifier heater.
0 volts going to pin 8(heater,cathode)
5 volts going to pin 2(heater)
I've tested my PT and get +5 volts when tested both ways.
From this I'm assuming that it doesn't matter which of the 5 volt wires goes to pin
2 or 8 of the rectifier.

Thanks Brian

It's floating 5VAC.  Just hook up those typically yellow wires.
