Some photo's.  In the trem circuit:  the resistor off the speed pot wiper had surged in value; the 3X .02 caps were replaced

EDIT:  Whoops I originally posted this on the wrong board; so I dleted that & moved the topic here.  There was 1 repsonse by Loosechange, wwhich I'll post below as a reply

Loosechange:  Just worked on a U45B. I changed every cap... It really easy with access to the back of the board. Works really great now.

Yes, BUT:  I found it to be a pain to trace the circuit, even for that small a board.  Give me a Hoffman layout anyday!  Also, the amp is pretty noisy.  One reason may be:  The "chassis" is merely an open frame.  It is easy to access the bottom of the circuit board; but there's no shielding to quiet ambient noise.
