Is there an impedance that is asscociated with TO-220 driver transistors

I don't understand the question.

Naked transistor is a lot like a couple diodes. "Impedance" depends on polarity and also test voltage.

I was reading the Data on the TO-220 on a website which i dont remember now. It said something about an impedance. I deleted that data sheet yesterday. I see no mention of impedance on the data sheet from ON SEMICONDUCTOR on the Newark website.

The TO-220 is a style of electronic component package, commonly used for transistors, silicon-controlled rectifiers, and integrated circuits. It's not any particular type of transistor. Impedance is not associated with package style.

TO-220 is a popular style for medium to high power junction transistors. It's also common for 3 terminal voltage regulator ICs. And it's very popular in this forum in the VVR circuit. The active ingredient in the VVR is a TO-220 style MOSFET.

More than you'll want to know about TO-220 right here...

A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!
