Bassman OT OHMS

The OT I am using has 3 secondaries. 8-4-2 ohms.  It is the one Doug sells.  I am not using an impudence selector, just 3, 1/4 jacks.  Should the jacks have ground switch?  Also, in the case of 16ohm speaker, is this a no-no for this amp?

you can't use grounding jacks when you wire them this way or you will simply get no sound at all.The switch in the jack will shunt the signal to ground.
  Most Fender style OT's will handle a 100% mismatch just fine but why would you want to do that anyway?Unless you swap out the tubes for a pair of 6V6's then the 16 ohm speaker doesn't have the right load for a pair of big bottle tubes.

The 16 Ohms question was just for information.  I do not plan to use any 16 ohms.  None of my cabinets are 16 ohms.  Just curious.
