Mosfet FX loop
« on: May 28, 2012, 06:58:28 pm »
Guys,

Do you think this would work to use mosfets instead of a tube for a D-latorish style active FX loop?

Revised the schematic and reposted it.

What does the original circuit look like?
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

I think it's doable. May not even need tweaking.

Hi tubenit,
Have you tried this on your amp yet? JFETs appear to be "plug and play" but they aren't that easy as they need to be biased properly same as using tubes. I just discovered this LND150 on own about a month ago. (wish I'd been looking at these threads in SS before now as you guys are as usual ahead of the curve - "my curve" anyway)
To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism. To steal from many is research.

Haven't tried it and decided to not build it.  Sorry.
