D'Mars OD Special & FX
« on: January 01, 2013, 10:07:41 am »
I finally had time to draw up a Hoffman style board of the the D'Mars OD Special with an active FX loop.  I used this type of active FX on my Tweed BluezMeister and I am very happy with it.

You could build it with or without the PPIMV.  On the TBM, the recovery pot (labeled FX level) is an excellent master volume. I eliminated the return pot and instead used a 82k to ground as I found that I did not adjust the return pot hardly ever.

I am using a D'Lator with mine, but I wished I had built it with the FX on board.

I included this in the SCH library also.

For anyone interested in possibly doing this D'Mars ODS build .........

I posted another soundclip of the amp on "clean" but with midboost engaged. I think it has a reasonably smooth tone to it:
