I have been working on the voltage string for my Sluckey inspired Plexi/800 amp today.  The string has two primary branches.  The branch I am having trouble with has the active effects circuitry tied to the screen supply.  This part of the sting is fine and the plate voltages are acceptable.  However, after that comes the supply to the OD circuitry.  I am trying to get plate voltages to the plates for this circuit of 200 volts and the highest I can get is 176 volts using a 470R / 3 watt dropping resistor from the active effects circuit.  It is obvious there is no way to get the voltage I need using the string as I currently have it configured.

The second branch as the amp is currently constituted has the PI, 800 TS, 800 PA then a branch for the Plexi TS and Plexi PA.  I would like to leave this string alone if at all possible.  My question is can I make a third branch from the screen supply for the OD supply?

Thanks
Mike
