1978 Princeton Reverb From Another Dimension

I have only seen one other amp that was butcher so badly. It was a 1961 Blonde Bassman. What a shame. But this one has that one beat by a square mile. It makes me sick to see this kind of work. It's sad. Extra preamp tube installed cockeyed. Most coupling caps are from the late 50's and early 60's. Wire was first taped using masking tape with duct tape over that. Transformer cutout altered etc. The soldering is horrendous. PT is installed using L angle brackets from some hardware store.

After saying all this it sounds pretty dam good. The reverb still works. The tremelo is gone.
Front face panel control pots are:
Gain-Volume-Treble-Bass-Reverb-Mid-Master Volume.
Rear pots are Gain-Presence

Added filament transformer for heaters as the PT does not have working filament leads. It's Bud Time/ I deserve it.

It appears to be in the 40 watt range. I believe all of this was done a long time ago judging by the condition of the paper masking tape.

If this had been a 1964 amp i would consider Harry Karry

You know how it is when you cant wait to remove the chassis to see if is untouched. Well as soon as i saw the PT & OT i knew it was gona be a bad day. I just didn't expect to see all this. Did i fix it ? Yes. Am i happy with the tone? Yes. I have to pretend now that i never saw it!
