Hello from West-Central Ill-annoy!
« on: February 04, 2017, 04:30:10 pm »

Hello gents,

Long time lurker coming out of the shadows here, hopefully to become more active.  I'm Scott, live in rural West Central Illinois, and I'm a tech who makes his living calibrating test equipment and biomed equipment.  I'm about an hour south of Quincy, IL if anybody is in the neighborhood.

I'm notoriously bad at procrastinating on projects (I have a whole pile of ideas and projects backlogged at all times lol) but I'm trying to start attacking them a bit at a time.  Since I travel a lot for work every week, my time is limited.

I've decided to start actually participating, and this seems to be the best board for tube amps that I've found.  Your board seems to have a very friendly atmosphere with lots of helpful folks.  Hopefully I can contribute to that!  Thank you all for running such a great board with so much good information available.

Thanks,
              Scott

Welcome, I too have a lot if ideas backlogged.  I get around to them eventually as the is something special about the smell of solder in the morning, it smells like victory or something like that.

Don't know your neighborhood, but welcome to ours.
