Best way to diy your own BNC connectors?

I’d like to make some of my own BNC patch cords. Some BNC-BNC, some BNC to alligators,etc......  I am doing some research online but I also would like to know what you guys like to use. Or if it’s not worth building your own then a reputable source.

I like the crimp connectors. No soldering. The tools are expensive and probably don't make sense for a DIYer. My choice as a DIYer is to have several 4' and 6' BNC to BNC cables and a bucket full of adapters.

I’m lucky enough to have access to both the crimp connectors and the crimping tool, it’s a tool we use it our shop. We run cabling for our network company for our BMS system. We run RG-59 for the BNC stuff. If that’s good enough, then I’ll get the adapters. I want to rebuild my 1978ish Onkyo TX-4500, I do have to recalibrate it too. I was looking at the Wavetek 148A for tuning. I know there is other equipment involved” distortion analyzer”, stereo modulation of some sort. I’m setting some winter projects up

I prefer RG-58 for audio but also have several RG-59 cables. It's been a while since I've used anything BNC.

Still use them on my scope, but for anything else, my RF box just gathers dust
