DIYLC install issue

I had to upgrade to a new computer. (win 10 box gave up the ghost)
Downloaded the .exe file and it seems defender doesn't like the file or where it came from??????
I had to click more info to "install anyway".
All seems good and Defender has not freaked out post install!
Just thought I'd pass this on in case others run into this.

That's weird, never had that issue on Windows 10 or 11
Did you right click and have windows defender scan the file to see what it says?

Something like unknown provider????
Honestly, knowing where I was I just skipped over it and installed it.
I figured it's just Microsoft bullying the little guys.

Doug, I scanned the download and Defender found nothing. So, I did a full scan of the computer and again, nothing. 
So, who knows? It all seems to work fine so, it gets to stay.

I downloaded 4.37.0 to check it out

Been a while since I did an install
I have has 4.37.0 for quite a while

Microsoft defender Scan said nothing is wrong with the .exe file
I ran the .exe and got the pop ups shown below

It's normal for 3rd party apps to have that pop up
It gives you a heads up and a choice to install the software

Just in case others run into this
You have to click on the more info link to continue with the install
You then click on the Run anyway button
