Conn Minuet 531 conversion
« on: May 21, 2019, 12:23:54 pm »
Hello,

I recently was given a sort of working Conn Minuet 531 organ by an older gentleman who was down-sizing his house. It is an all-tube setup and the tone generators uses sets of tubes with transformers to sound notes on the scale.  In those sets there are at least 8 12AL5 tubes.

I have begun researching what I might be able to do with these little gems. They are a dual-diode tube.  I have seen references to using them in a compressor circuit and/or an octaver circuit pedal?

Any thoughts from this forum would be most welcome.  I have attached the datasheet.
