I'm looking for a schematic for the Hughes & letter Puretone amp

Can any one help?

I have one in for repair that has had a few mods done to it, the new owner would like it returned to stock..

I've heard that "H&K are cool guys and often send the schematics, if you ask them politely, state model and serial number and sound like a Technician trying to repair a customer's problem , rather than a (technically) clue less musician."
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

I did try to contact them around a week ago, no reply so far.

I the u.k. the distributor will not share schematics unless you have an account so no luck there either.

Lovetone,

Scoured the net, even foreign language and nothing - sorry!

If you don't mind, when you get it fixed, can you give a review of your thoughts on the amp?  All online reviews seem to be glowing for these beasties.  Like an AC30 with bull balls.  I think the secret is out because they are not as cheap as they once were....  It would be cool to see how they accomplished this sonic marvel so a schematic would be a plus!  An amp with a "Growl" control has to be good! :icon_biggrin:
