Vertical output transformer
« on: October 20, 2019, 04:37:13 pm »
Hi guy's.

I'm trying to find out what makes a 5:1 vertical output transformer from a Black and White TV special.
I'm trying to source a couple of transformers with specs that are close but no cigar.
The Thordarson 26S70 says primary impedance 6500 @ 13 ma. and the only specs from other manufactures back in the day at 5:1 is primary around 250-300 ohms and secondary 6-9 ohms.
I've tried to find NOS from various manufacturers with no luck.
Can anybody give me some insight what I'm looking for, why the are different, or what may be equivalent in today's market.

Thanks for any help
