Hello,
  My name is Jim.  I am a retired Air Force radar operator "Air Defense Controller".  Anyway, I am a novice guitar player and have absolutely no formal electronics education-but I love tube amplifiers.  Over the last 10 years or so I have built a few Fender amps. (Super, Twin, Deluxe, and Princeton Reverbs as well as a couple of AA864 Bassman Amps.  Everyone of these amps eventually came to life and sounded great (after I found all my mistakes of course and with some great help on this forum over the years).  I sold them to friends and relatives at cost.  I kept the Twin Reverb for myself though!  I will soon be giving the twin to my Son as it has somehow became way to heavy to move?  I'm about done using Fender style eyelet boards and want to start using turret board construction.  Funny, I bought about a 1000 turrets off this site years ago and the tool too.  I bought board material as well.  So soon I will give it a go.
