about PPIMV
« on: April 28, 2021, 02:14:23 pm »
I have listed here some PPIMV types I have used in the cathode biased amps.

I have not been satisfied with the most common #3 and #4 that IMO damp too much signal in the first half of the pot.

I liked very much #1 that I used in a 5D3 based circuit. This control worked very linearly through the whole area.
It is very close to the cross line master but is not the same.

Are there any disadvantages to use #1 or #2?
