Hello:
Name is Murray...from W. Michigan. Have been a mostly analog electronics tech for decades and was an illegitimate engineer for a few years (employers' ideas, not mine). I've been collecting complete & incomplete amp chasses, parts, etc. for the same time frame. I have a problem finishing projects - I tell people it feels weird when I do finish one...like a piece of my soul died...but I get over it and start another.
I have probably asked questions of many of you on various forums & disappear for a while. But I appreciate the answers.
I started buying guitars when I was a saxophone student in the 80's. Sold the horns to pay off credit cards (they appreciated). Still trying to figure out which end of the guitar goes in my mouth. Keeping my guitars because I figured out how to not get frustrated & they don't appreciate as much...if at all.
Married 33+ years, have one kid who is a Celtic(+) fiddler.
Also collect old cameras & lenses (actually, I've stopped due to lack of space) & occasionally brew beer with my son-in-law. The beer is easier to give away than other things.
Hopefully I've covered all the things one would (or wouldn't) expect to find in an introduction.
I muted my avatar. It is much more annoying with sound.
