'68 AB763 Showman tremolo tick
« on: August 05, 2023, 08:17:01 am »
I just bought back my old SF Showman and had forgotten about that annoying tremolo tick. I know about the fix with the 10nF cap between the 10M resistor and ground, as well as moving wires around. Haven't tried any of those fixes, at the moment.

But I just read on "Effectrode" website, that they suggest moving the grounding end of the SPEED pot's 100k resistor - from the chassis/brass plate to the 25μF/100k junction on the board.

Have any of you guys tried this approach?

Best regards,
Max
