Blonde Twin 6G8 with Reverb
« on: August 23, 2015, 07:40:46 pm »
Hi All,
I've always loved the short lived Harmonic Tremolo/vibrato that came with some of the Blonde/Brown series amps.
I also love some reverb in there as well, so I set about trying to figure out how to fit it all into one amp.

Here's my first attempt, It's basically a 2 output tube 6G8 Twin with the Fender reverb .
I have just finished this drawing and called it the Harmonic Reverb, I haven't yet built it (waiting on parts ) but will do in the near future
I thought I'd post it here for all to check out. I've gone over the circuit multiple times and as far as I can see it's correct . I'm hoping the guru's here can take a look and see if there's something I've missed . This is a work in progress, untested, so don't take it as gospel. I still need to build one and sort any issues that may arise that I might have missed.

I couldn't fit the drawing on one page without you needing a magnifying glass so I split it into 2 sections.
Your input and feedback on the amp would be greatly appreciated. I've done the layout in the Hoffman board style

kind regards
Mark Watson

A schematic would be more useful to determine if the circuit is workable.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

I'll draw one from my notes when I get a chance

here you go,

I took one channel and 2 output tubes out of this

one mistake pointed out is the tube labeling, I put the 12AU in the wrong spot

Watto -- I'm looking to build an amp a lot like what you described. Your Photobucket links are dead. Do you still have your schematics? Did your project turn out?
