Building JMI style AC15 twin cabinet
« on: March 15, 2023, 12:49:40 pm »
Hey folks,

Here is some pictures of an AC15 Twin JMI style finger-joined cabinet I am building for my AC15 build. Part of the challenges with this build was getting my finger joint table saw jig setup and learning how to use it. The other challenge has been sourcing the rather rare authentic JMI Vox fawn tolex, which is basically un-obtanium. I will have to post a few pictures at a time.

Are you drilling the holes for the handles after you installed the tolex? You can damage it this way! :icon_biggrin:

It’s been a while since this build, so I don’t exactly recall. I have done both and it really doesn’t seem to matter. But you can’t tell when they are pre-drilled because the tolex isn’t perferated until latter.
