is it possible?  on a cathode follower there is the SAT switch but where would i incorporate this on a plate driven tonestack?

Ceriatone does diode clipping in their plexiyish amps - SOY shown (before the TS)
A bus stops at a bus station. A train stops at a train station. On my desk, I have a work station.

I assembled one of their kit versions last fall. Top-notch quality and fun to assemble. I just looked at my switch and it's in the middle, so apparently I don't like either era. If I remember it takes away some of the bottom end which I like. Sounds more full without it. It would be easy to do a test circuit and try it. Diodes and a switch are cheap. In my case it would not be worth the trouble. Personal preference. The amp itself sounds fantastic.

I’ve got one in a 2 x10 combo cab. I agree with your assessment of the era switch. I subbed a 12AT7 into the LTP socket- sounds even better.
