AC to AC Power Supply
« on: September 27, 2025, 01:51:40 pm »
Don't know if this is the correct board but I am trying to find plans to build a power supply with 120VAC to 16VAC, 1000Ma. This is for a Peavey cyberbass splitter. I have built many AC to DC power supplies but cannot find any DIY plans for AC to AC.Thanks

surf up "walwarts"  AC to AC is nothing more than a stepdown PT.  since there's no schematic, i'll go out on a limb and say the "device" that you need the 16VAC @ 1A does the AC to DC part internally.
Went Class C for efficiency
